Brian Bergeron's musical fate has been intertwined with Ivy Hill Entertainment's since IHE settled into its current iteration in late 2014. The organization found its current private events focus due to Bergeron's own experience performing over 500 events throughout California, totaling hundreds of wineries, weddings, private events, and farmers markets, amassing a diverse repertoire, as both a live musician and a DJ/MC.
As an original songwriter, he fronts electro-acoustic band, Mr. Kind, along with IHE founders Matt Roads and Jonathan Devoto, which plans on releasing new recordings this fall. Brian also fronts the Harvest Trio, an acoustic guitar, upright bass, and violinist folk group that is one of IHE's most popular acts.
As a solo recording artist, he has placed his songs on numerous television shows, including The Voice, The Young and the Restless, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Over my years of performing professionally, I've amassed a cover repertoire of over 200 songs that I keep well-rehearsed over a busy gig schedule. For weddings, I feel comfortable with the classics like Pachelbel's Canon in D and Wagner's Bridal Chorus but I'm always happy to perform classic rock rather than classical music, having sung many brides down the aisle with Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles or Into The Mystic by Van Morrison. I have an interest in a wide variety of music, having learned songs by Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Oasis, The Avett Brothers, and countless other artists. My own tastes skew a bit more contemporary, which is why I get excited with requests from Bon Iver, Wilco, and Ryan Adams. I'm a lover of all types of music and feel honored at the opportunity to learn from such a wide swath of artists.
