Dan Ashley is the Emmy Award winning anchor of ABC-7 News in San Francisco each weeknight at 5:00, 6:00, 9:00, and 11:00. In his thirty years in television news, Dan has also won the prestigious DuPont Columbia Award and the Edward R. Murrow Award among others. His success as an anchorman is only part of the story. 

Growing up surrounded by music, Dan fostered a deep appreciation and love for music and performance. 
He has spent many years developing as a vocalist through extensive training in the Bel Canto technique and sings a wide-range of musical genres from old standards, to country ballads, to light opera and show tunes.

He has performed the National Anthem for thousands of people at major events including Golden State Warriors and Oakland A's games, San Jose State Spartans football home-opener, and The San Francisco Bulls hockey game at the Cow Palace. Dan has recorded and performed with three-time Grammy Award winner
Narada Michael Walden, including singing to the legendary Dionne Warwick
Dan also founded his own non-profit annual musical event for charity called “Dan Ashley’s Rock the CASA” featuring iconic artists.

As the lead singer of PUSH, Dan is delighted to contribute to a band that creates so many great original songs.
