Debbie Ilana is a pianist, singer, songwriter, accompanist, and performer with a wide variety of training and musical passions. She has been playing the piano since she was 4 years old and has toured the country singing and playing for pop, bluegrass, rock, indie, and folk groups. With a lifetime background in classical and pop piano and classical and jazz voice, as well as releasing two records of original songs produced by John Vanderslice (Spoon, The Mountain Goats), her styles can meld to any request or event.
Debbie holds a music degree from Tufts University where she was awarded the Mabel Daniels Prize in Music and Literature and the Elaine Ehlers Arts Scholarship. Throughout her 4 years at Tufts, Debbie accompanied classical, opera, and musical theater voice students, exposing her to a range of repertoire and honing her skills as a rehearsal pianist and vocalist. She also has years of experience playing and singing at weddings and private events.
Debbie is available for solo piano, solo voice, piano and voice together, or with a full band, performing instrumental or vocal music.
