Trace Repeat is a soul and funk band from Oakland, CA. They bring back that old school funk, with music inspired by their musical forefathers: James Brown, Michael Jackson, and Prince. Get down on it!

Trace Repeat has played to high-energy crowds of all ages around the Bay Area and beyond, including Cornerstone in Berkeley, Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, and the Plaza in Healdsburg. The band released their first record, The Oaktown Sound, in September 2017 and has been featured in outlets including Huffington Post, NBC News, and Mother Jones Magazine. Huffpost says if you don’t feel their funky groove, check your pulse!
